As the son of Dave Oliver, John was raised learning about Ashtanga at home. He also traveled to India to study ashtanga yoga. His classes are a great mix of traditional ashtanga, and some workshoping. His understanding of yoga and the sanskrit language are an amazing example of the great knowledge he has at such a young age.
