DanielleCome stressed... leave happy! Some say that a yogi's "health" is measured by their spine. Danielle knows this best, having a Stage 4 scoliosis herself. In essence, yoga is literally what keeps her in line. "I swear by it. Yoga is the only thing that keeps me from having a steel rod inserted into my spine." An avid yogini since she was "in the womb," Danielle was raised by her mother to seek holistic alternatives to modern medicine as a means for health and wellbeing. In the fall of 2007, after graduating from ASU, Danielle enrolled in At One Yoga's Teacher Training. During this time, learning gave way to a fascination with the physical self and the power of energy in altering the body’s state of being. "In the chaotic world we live in today, the more time we spend looking within ourselves for that honesty and compassion, the greater respect we will have for ourselves and those around us," she says. Danielle takes a personal interest in the wellbeing of her students. She encourages them to accept where they are physically and mentally and uses that perspective to cultivate inner peace. "The most important thing you can do is take that 'peace' created on the mat into everyday life." Take the time out of your busy day to relax and let go. Find your true bliss and drift away in one of Danielle's classes, you will walk away feeling lighter, happier, and healthier. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" |
