Raised in rural Arkansas by California hippies, Johanna's background lends to her unique classes...a little southern hospitality ...a little Bob Marley. Johanna never knew what she wanted to do with her life - until she moved to Arizona and found yoga. On the mat, she has learned that as in life, each person has areas where they struggle and those where they shine... and that the collaboration of all of our gifts is what makes our world so amazing. Inspired by Romanelli and equipped with her degree in English Literature, Johanna shares the wisdom of the many authors she's read ...blended with the wisdom she's picked up along the way. While Johanna's classes are funky and challenging, her calm and nurturing presence creates an environment where students feel safe to struggle and shine.
