Explore the history of Yoga and and its Practice
This 3-week introductory course is designed to help you explore the fundamentals of yoga. You will create a foundation based upon breathing techniques, primary yoga postures and universal principles of alignment. Individual attention and hands-on adjustments will give you the necessary tools to progress to our ongoing classes. Our Intro to Yoga Program provides the optimal environment for an experienced instructor to become familiar with you and recommend classes that are most suitable to your needs. This is also an excellent opportunity for experienced students to further refine their yoga practice.

June Student Intensives Starts Monday, June 5
Whether you are interested in deepening your own practice, or feel the call to teach, the At One Yoga Student Intensives program is committed to the personal success of every participant. Participants will acquire the confidence to communicate the practice of yoga to others with the highest level of skill while honoring their own unique voice and style. Students are encouraged to engage in "svadhyaya" – the Sanskrit word for self-inquiry – and use the program as a significant part of their continuing journey on the road to self-knowledge. These Student Intensives will open your perspective of the practice of yoga that becomes a truly transformational experience on every level: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

At One Yoga Student Intensives can be experienced either as a series providing direct contact with At One Yoga instructors 5 days a week for a four week period, or at a more leisurely pace by meeting 3 days a week over the course of a three week session. The At One Yoga Student Intensives program is structured to fully prepare you to meet the registration requirements of Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. Students interested in pursuing registration with Yoga Alliance will be required to complete all four Student Intensives within a one year period.

Prana Flow - Exploring the use of Yogic Breathing with Jenn Chiarelli
Yogic breathing is called "Pranayama". Prana means breath, life, vitality, energy, or strength. It also connotes the soul as opposed to the body. Yama means to control.

The yogic system of breathing trains one to be aware of the flow of breath. Breathing is the most basic function of human life. Life as we think of it begins with our first breath in and ends with our last breath out. Breath is life.
